Gov. Jay Inslee’s empathy about our getting older ferry fleet is slightly disingenuous. He acknowledges our fleet is previous and we’ve recognized that for a very long time. Properly, he’s been governor for a very long time and will need to be so once more.
The place has his management been for the previous eight years as our fleet will get older and older, and breaks down increasingly more? The previous “ain’t it terrible, we should do one thing” will get tiresome. Possibly much less time on a few of his pet initiatives and extra on issues that can enhance our state can be a greater use of his time. Or perhaps a brand new governor?
